December is here and the month of the Wood Rat （Jia Zi- 甲 子) starts on December 7th. This month we experience the shortest days and longest nights, up to the winter solstice. The yin energy is overtaking the yang is reflected in more dark than light in our days. This seems to be a time when we collectively decide to slow down & reflect inwards, as reflected in the dormancy of nature.
